Coaching flute students in Guernsey from beginner to diploma level, since 2009, several of his students have won places at leading conservatoires in the UK. Guernsey Music Centre Flute Choir has given performances on several tours, including Bath, Prague, and Niagara - Canada. From 2016-2017 Daniel provided instrumental music teaching for the island of Alderney as part of his work with Guernsey Music Service. He completed postgraduate teacher training in 1999 and began his career managing Instrumental Studies at Blessed Edward Oldcorne High School, Worcester. Daniel then worked for seven years as a Senior instrumental teacher for Bath & North East Somerset's Music Service, before taking the post of Deputy Head of Centre with Northamptonshire Music & Performing Arts Trust.
